Easy and Quick Cherry Crostata Recipe

 


Ingredients (for 6 people)

1 egg

140 g sugar

15 g bitter cocoa

50 g milk

80 g sunflower oil

300 g flour

8 g baking powder

250 g cottage cheese

½ lemon

Preparation


Start by combining in a bowl egg, 100 g of sugar, oil, milk, cocoa and baking powder.

Mix the ingredients well and add the flour little by little.

Transfer the dough to the work table and process until the mixture is smooth and homogeneous. When it no longer sticks to your fingers, it means that the dough is ready.

Take a pan with a diameter of about 26 cm, grease it with a little oil and flour.

Now spread a sheet of baking paper on the work space, sprinkle some flour there and roll out about 2/3 of the dough.

Turn it upside down in the pan so you can pass the batter there.

Carefully remove the paper and cut off the excess edges with a knife.

Now you can prepare the filling.

Pour the curd, 40g of sugar and the grated rind of half a lemon into a container.

Mix it well with a spoon and spread the mixture all over the base of the dough in the pan.

Take the washed cherries and cut them in half to remove the pit, then place them on top of the curd cream until the pan is completely covered.

With the rest of the dough, create small strips, which you place on the side parts of the dessert.

Bake at 180°C for 45 minutes and after taking it out of the oven, sprinkle a little powdered sugar.
